The Blues Brothers: Unleashed

About Me

They're On A Mission From God... Brought together by the 1980 motion picture and sharing a love (obsession?) for all things Blues Brothers, THE BLUES BROTHERS: UNLEASHED are the UK's newest tribute to Jake and Elwood. Tired of being let down by substandard acts with store bought self-adhesive sideburns, Callum Stewart and Callum Bowes came together and decided to pay tribute to Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi not only with a sense of fun but also with respect to the men and the characters. Absolute sticklers for accuracy, they have sacrificed long hair that took years to grow and facial hair they were awfully proud of to accuratley portray Jake and Elwood. But not only do the Callums have the look, they have the voice and the moves to go with it. Stewart is a trained singer and dancer who has been in theatrical musicals playing parts as varied as the Phantom of the Opera and the Cowardly Lion, whilst Bowes is a veteran of several rock bands including local heroes Steel Septum and the soon-to-be-massive King Leer. They're 5000 miles from Chicago, they've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, they're the hottest Blues Brothers Tribute Show this side of the Cook County city limits, it's dark - and you can bet your ass they'll be wearing sunglasses!
