The Pagan Spirit music band was established at the end of the year 1999 and beginning of the year 2000 on the base of vanishing death metal formation, in which Daimonion with Ordog had been memebers. After a small staff change in a position of the second guitar player, who had left the group at the very beginning, the group remained in the formation as follows: Ordog - guitars, vocals, Daimonion – drums, and Hrabie Macina – keyboards, who this way supports one guitar in the band. After 5 months of composing the band released their first demo album named Grimoire – Mysteries Arriving with Death. It was released in the year 2001 on their own costs and later also with Serbian label Buffalo Revenge. In the year 2002 Ohaf – bassguitar and Majster Sféry – the second guitar supported the group. After the era of concerts and compositions of new materials the group released their debut album named The Latent Doctrine. It was released in the year 2005 with Slovak label Hrom Records. Based on mutual agreement Hrabie Macina left the group at the end of the year 2006. September 2007 was the time when Pagan Spirit composed their conceptional album named Vioces Invoking the Ancient Faith. This album was sung in Slovak language and without keyboards.
