Splizz is a poetry and music zine that was born in 1993. A non-commercial venture, it is non-profit making, but enthusiastically supports new and established poets as well as new and exciting bands from all over the world. Splizz is a 60 page A5 zine which is published quarterly in March, June, September and December. If you want an idea of the types of bands that Splizz features, some of those interviewed and reviewed in our current issue appear on our myspace player, along with some Splizz faves . ....

We mainly focus on rock/metal/punk/alternative/indie bands, but if your band falls outside these genres, get in touch. We might just love your music too and consider reviewing it in Splizz. If your band is out on the road now or in the near future, let us know where you’re playing and we’ll aim to send someone from Splizz down to check out at least one of the dates.....

Please ensure that your contact details are included with your work, and that the work you submit has not been published elsewhere. Poems of a racist or homophobic nature will not be considered. For further information, you can request a copy of our submission guidelines by emailing the aforementioned address. If you are a writer of prose, we will consider work that is no more than 2000 words in length.....
