Belonging to the elite of European drummers Reto Weber has internationalised his successful project “Squeezeband“. In 2003 he began to work with some young and promising Swiss talents and he succeeded at his first go.
After two successful CDs, concerts, tours and festivals throughout Europe, Africa and South America, in 2009 he lifted the Squeezeproject to a new level by the addition of the fantastic Beatboxer NINO G. So he simply invited his friends: as the first one the American sax giant CHICO FREEMAN with whom he has been playing for 20 years, then FRANCO AMBROSETTI who participated in some of the world music projects, GIANLUCA PETRELLA a young outstanding trombonist from Italy with whom he played occasionally joining Enrico Rava, GILAD ATZMON from England on the bass clarinet who couldn’t be missing, and NINO G during many years Squeezeband partner and simply one of the worldwide leading figures of the beatbox scene.
With the addition of: at the guitar DANY MARTINEZ unequaled bandleader and groove guitarist and on the bass MICHEL ALBO well-known due to his legendary performances with the Sixunband .A SUPER HOT BAND! THE SQUEEZEBAND IS IMMERSING IN A NEW MUSICAL WORLD AND WILL MAKE WAVES WITH THIS SPECIAL LINE UP!
