I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in the Maryland suburbs. But my parents bought a tavern here in W-B and we moved "up" here permanently in 1979. I graduated from GAR Memorial High School in 1981. I met my wife there and we were married in 1984.I served my Country in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 until 1985 and am damned proud of it. I'm a professional firefighter (since 1987) and have been stationed on an ALS unit for the City of Wilkes-Barre since 1988. Serving on the ambulance for 20 years hasn't been easy though. My old partner George hadn't eaten a hot french fry for 10 years! And my current partner is an eco-friendly vegitarian California hippy! That makes thing interesting! We don't get much rest either, but the job does add meaning to my life. Well, most of the time.My hobbys include fishing, vintage motorcycles, woodworking, and good old fashioned manual labor!I'm not looking for any extra marital relationships. I've been married to my wife for 20+ years and she has all of the goods I'll ever need. But I do like a good conversation. And I love to play the Devil's advocate in spirited debates. So if I invite you to be my friend it's because I saw something interesting or controversial on your page.If you want to talk motorcycles, have a thought or two about current affairs feel free to drop me a line. Hello's and other nonsense are always welcome.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with an interest in vintage motorcycles or unusual motorcycles. Cabinet makers, artists, photographers etc. Or anyone who would just like to say hello!

My Blog

Ain't it the truth!

In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm and three or more is a congress. --    John Adams
