About Me
The band MORTALLY INFECTED was preceded by deathers from Bratislava – Mortal Inected.The band was founded in the spring of 1995 by Ondro /guitar/ and early band members – Miso /guitar, vocals/, Ivan /bass/ and Brano /drums/. In the spring of 1997 there were some line-up changes. Brano and Ivan left Mortal Infected. Lubo /drums/ and Miro /bass/ joined the band. In the autumn this formation recorded the demo „Tell me a poem“ and thereafter it was disbanded. Soon, Ondro was able to bring together new musicians and in 1998 he revived the band. Miso A. /guitar/, Jano /vocals/, Sigi /drums/ and during the summer also Miso N. /bass/ joined the band. Still, it was unable to settle a persisting band formation and more line-up changes took place. Several musicians joined and left the band – Peto S. /drums/, Rado /guitar/, Ajo /drums/, Fokus /guitar/, Spano /bass/. The third period of history of M.I. started in the summer of 2001. Peto H. /drums/, Miso K. /guitar/, Ivan K. /bass/ and in the autumn of the same year also Vuldzar /vocals/ gradually joined the band. In the spring of 2003 Miso K. was substituted by Tom and the title of the band was changed to MORTALLY INFECTED because the original title was gramatically incorrect. The music became more brutal and it was clearly tending to brutal deathmetal. When Peto left M.I. in the summer of 2005, the band existed also under the title of Decrial for a while and there were several attempts to play with makeshift computer-made drums. In the spring of 2006 Sead /drums/ finally joins the band and in the autumn MORTALLY INFECTED records the singel „Keep it fucking brutal !!!“ at „TSL“ in Nedozery-Brezany. Year 2007 was in the of show, gigs where band played besides hordes like: ABYSMAL TORMENT, GORYPTIC, ISACAARUM, LOCOMOTIVE, INGROWING, RUBUFASO MUKUFO, ETERNAL BLEEDING, CRANIOTOMY, DIFTERY, DEMENTOR, SANATORIUM, ATTACK OF RAGE, SUBURBAN TERRORIST, HEMPEROR... In october 2007 the guitarist and founding member Ondro decided to leave the band and M.I. is playing by four. The band ends very popular year by recording EP in TSL. After several gigs in Slovakia and foreign countries the band releases its EP The Age Of Eclipsed Humanity in 2008 under german label REVENGE PRODUCTIONS. After year of exhausting searching are Murders again a 5-member band, because Mortally Infected has joined guitarist Majzlo. The band is writing new stuff for an upcoming CD. See you at our shows... -------------------------------------------------Kapela MORTALLY INFECTED je nasledovnikom bratislavskych deatherov Mortal Infected.Jej zakladatelom bol na jar roku 1995 gitarista Ondro so spoluhracmi: Miso J. /gitara a vokal/, Ivan /basa/ a Brano /bicie/. Na jar roku 1997 nastali personalne zmeny, ked Lubo nahradil Brana , respektive Miro Ivana, ktoreho od leta nahradil basgitarista Alex. Na jesen tato zostava nahrala demo „Tell me a poem“ a nasledne sa rozpadla. Netrvalo vsak dlho a Ondro zostavil zaciatkom roka 1998 novu formaciu: Miso A. /gitara/, Jano /vokal/ a Sigi /bicie/, ktorych v lete doplnil basgitarista Miso N. Kapela vsak nemala svoju stabilizovanejsiu zostavu, preto sa v nej vystriedalo viacero hudobnikov: Peto S. /bicie/, Rado /gitara/, Ajo /bicie/, Fokus /gitara/, Spano /basa/. V lete roku 2001 sa zacala tretia etapa M.I., ked sa k Ondrovi postupne pripojili: Peto H. /bicie/, Miso K. /gitara/, Ivan K. /basa/ a na jesen skompletizoval zostavu Vuldzar /vokal/. Na jar roku 2003 nahradil Tom gitaristu Misa K. a v tomto obdobi doslo aj ku gramaticky korektnej zmene nazvu na MORTALLY INFECTED. Dovodom zmeny bolo aj to, ze sa kapela zacala lepsie citit v brutal deathovych vodach. Ked v lete roku 2005 odisiel bubenik Peto, kapela haldala takmer rok nahradu a experimentovala s automatickym bubenikom ako aj s nazvom /Decrial/. Na jar roku 2006 prichadza Sead, s ktorym sa na jesen nahrava v TSL /Typhoid Sound Laboratory/ singel „Keep it fucking brutal !!!“. Rok 2007 sa niesol v znameni koncertov na ktorych si kapela zahrala po boku /okrem inych/ so spolkami ako: ABYSMAL TORMENT, GORYPTIC, ISACAARUM, LOCOMOTIVE, INGROWING, RUBUFASO MUKUFO, ETERNAL BLEEDING, CRANIOTOMY, DIFTERY, DEMENTOR, SANATORIUM, ATTACK OF RAGE, SUBURBAN TERRORIST, HEMPEROR...v oktobri sa gitarista a zaroven posledny zakladajuci clen kapely Ondro rozhodol ukoncit svoje posobenie a tak M.I. padluje dalej vo stvorici. Pomerene uspesny rok banda zavrsila nahranim EP, ako inak v osvedcenom TSL . V roku 2008 sa po koncertoch a festivaloch na Slovensku a v zahranici, vydava debut EP The Age Of Eclipsed Humanity pod hlavickou nemeckeho vydavatela REVENGE PRODUCTIONS. Po roku uporneho hladania su Murders opat v 5ici ked do kapely prichadza gitarista Majzlo. Momentalne kapela pripravuje material na dalsie CD. Vidime sa na koncertoch...KEEP IT FUCKING BRUTAL!!!
