During one of her outings in london’s clubland Billie Ray Martin pricked up her ears. Blasting through the sound system was Electrostats Bastard mix of her forthcoming single Undisco Me (to be relased in jan/feb 2007).
Although ‘officially’ outraged at the unsolicited effort, the thrill of this powerful electro/punk fest plus the added bonus of hearing her vocals mashed up with the Ramones: Pinhead was too strong. She had a good boogie and wasted no time to ‘have words’ with the makers………..basically to give them the double thumbs up.
Reactions so far have been overwhelming with dj’s like Mark Moore quickly picking up on it.The official single with mixes by Edison and Acid Jacks as well as the Original Mix are to be released by Rebirth Records in February 2007. Meanwhile feast your ears on the Bastard Mix.
