Her daily driver was a 1977 Ford Maverick two-door. Straight six, three speed manual, on the column. I hated that car. But she loved it and said it would make a good hot rod. Twenty years later, we bought a 'cuda and a Maverick. The 71'cuda is a 440-6 4spd and the 72 Maverick Grabber is a 302 auto. These cars are both a lot of fun, and she was right - the Maverick is a great hot rod! Together we have four kids, 10-14 years old. I operate/maintain a large office building in NYC.Cruising in a musclecar is awesome. I'm interested in anything with wheels and an engine. I love my 1971 cuda, but it is made more enjoyable by the diverse interests among all auto hobbiests. I appreciate and respect them all. From antiques to concepts, luxury to rat rods, sports cars to monster trucks, land yachts to minis, American muscle to Japanese imports, straight line to rally, 1/8th mile to highway killer, jacked up to slammed down, daily drivers to trailer queens. Its all good!I enjoy doing interesting things with my wife and kids. Getting out and spending time together.I also enjoy going out to dinner without the kids.Whats better than a good game of chess, preferably a timed game, in person. Internet chess is like liqued crack. I am not a bad player, but I'm not ready to challenge Kramnik yet either.I drink copius amounts of soda. I dig tattoos, Ink is cool.
