About Me

In 1993 three scholar-activists met in Pittsburgh PA. In 1996 they released the best record of the '90's entitled 7 Goats "The Best Of Jackie Gleason" (Seeing Seamans Records) -- it was recorded '93-'95 on boombox, 4track, adat, dat, 2", etc. This cd is so good, it is now called "In Rare Farm," and is, in a way, distributed on 3 continents. 2 of the above songs are from their ground-breaking 1st and only cd -- the other songs are recordings of live shows from 1996 using 2 original radio shack pzms and a sony dat recorder (the hecklers on "3 men in a bar" include legendary Pittsburghers Terry Carrol and Chris Cannon). Inquire within for the best record of the 1990's -- believe it or not, there are still a few copies left. Nowadays, Scott Prairie plays in A Moving Sound, http://amovingsound.com/ -- Kevin Shea plays with several nyc-based bands, http://www.myspace.com/kevinshea -- Mark Tierney plays in Zero King, http://www.myspace.com/zerokings. This was Kevin's 1st ever cd -- can the same be said for Scott and Mark? For $500, 7 Goats will keep you updated.
