About Me

I am Dat Phan's Manager. Yes, there is work involved in being a successful comedian. Dat Phan has incredible drive and I am glad to be a part of the Dat Phan team. Dat wants to be your friend at www.myspace.com/dphan (beware of the fake Dat Phan pages. the real one is in the MySpace Comedy section, not here in the regular zone)I was born in Chicago, grew up in San Diego mostly, watched sesame street, was a dork in school, did High School in Thailand, came back to SD for College. Took a lot of wakeboarding classes and worked my way through college with valet parking. Earned my Accounting/Business Degree from SDSU, then spent three long painful years as an accountant...I'm half Irish, half Vietnamese - so I like healthy doses of Pho and Guinness. Just not together.I have a travel bug - Costa Rica, Bali, Nepal, All over Thailand, Singapore, England, Scotland, Amsterdam, Snowboarding in CA, New Orleans multiple times, all over the U.S., etc. Vegas at least once a year...I play Soccer, Volleyball, and other sports when available. Try to hit the gym often, and it's hard to find Racketball players.I'm addicted to continuously finding new music from all genres, and I'm an email junkie. Always up to get out of the house, hit any social event, party time, whatever. I can whup some ass at Karaoke.I love meeting new people!

My Interests

Team Sports, Learning, Self-Improvement, Travel, Happy Hour, any kind of Networking. I'm a bit of a car enthusiast, but not overboard. I'll get out of town any chance I get. Been trying to paint, but it's really hard to dedicate the time.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone moderately intelligent and fun loving. anyone with a wide breadth of interests. anyone who isn't flakey. I'm amazed at how many people can't find the effort to make/return a frickin phone call. Music:

Most people people say they listen to a little of everything, but then I ask them about Country or Heavy Metal and it turns out they just like Pop and Hip Hop... I wake up with a different song in my head every morning.

Movies:

Have you seen Raising Arizona? That and Team America are damn funny hilarious movies. Not into the Dramatic or sad movies. Horror movies aren't really my bag either. I think the Comedies and Sci-Fi ones are usually most interesting to me. My new theory is that any movie with a bazooka in it is good...

Television:

Not a big TV watcher. When I flip it on, I end up watching Stand-Up comedians, Comedy Central. Otherwise - Discovery channel (when it isn't American Chopper again), Dirty Jobs is wonderfully done, History, National Geographic or Spike. MXC!!!

Books:

I read more on the Internet than anything - y'know, interactive, modern age, short attention span and all that. Sometimes I read paperbacks at night to help me fall asleep.

Heroes:

People who have their shit together and can still find time and ways to help others.
