People! I enjoy being surprised (pleasantly or unpleasantly) by people, so I try not to create a list of criteria. People with similar interests and a comparable personality are probably just as likely to get along with me as someone with radically different views on life. I try my best not to judge people on appearance, or even on actions over too short a period of time. Beauty is more than skin deep, and life happens. So drop me a line and say hi, and see what happens!
Eddie Izzard, Finding Nemo, Atlantis, Lord of the Rings, Fern Gully, Moulin Rouge, Love Actually, Hocus Pocus, Stargate SG1, The Mummy, etc etc
The computer has become my TV. I spend my time in front of a much smaller (but more entertaining) screen.
I love to read, and have quite the little library going, but I'll name off a few of the highlights. Most of them fall into the "fantasy" category: Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, Belgrad and Malloran by David Eddings, Pern series by Anne MaCaffery, Xanth and Adept series' by Piers Anthony, Harry Potter series, The Secret Language of Birthdays, The Da Vinci Code, The Blank Slate, etc etc. I've got lots, so come and browse my collection!
Heroes in my mind are those who never give a word of advice. They don't go around telling people what to do, or how to do it, or why one way is better than another. For me, a true hero is someone who inspires because they honor themselves, devoting their lives to pursuits that truly embody what happiness is for them. These people, by doing so, give everyone around them permission to pursue happiness in their own way, and make their own lives into something just as inspiring. So it's those people I honor here, and hope my devotion to my own happiness inspires others to do the same.
