People I don't know, or people I used to know but haven't heard from in a while. Or people I already know now; hell, I'll re-meet you guys. Why not?
Ben Folds / Ben Folds Five, Weezer (for nostalgia), John Mayer, Suga Shikao, Kings of Convenience, Utada Hikaru, L'arc-en-Ciel, hip-hop and rap that's so bad it's funny, Cole Porter, Burt Bacharach, and basically anything else I can sing along to. As far as classical music goes, my all-time favorite composer is Chopin, but Mozart is another big fave. I enjoy the hell out of the fact that someone with that kind of musical genius also believed that poop jokes are the highest form of humor. I also like to fantasize about what kind of music Mozart would write if he were alive today and had access to iTunes.
Anything that makes me laugh, especially American Pie, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, Office Space, and Boomerang (I don't know why I love Boomerang, I just do. Maybe because as far as that movie is concerned, there are only two white people in existence and black people are running all of America). Gotta love My Big Fat Greek Wedding because of how close it hits to home. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is high up on the list as well, also because of how close it hits to home.

The Fuck-Up, Ender's Game, The World According to Garp, A Prayer for Owen Meany, Candide, Armadale, A Confederacy of Dunces, The Good Earth, White Oleander. I am a fan of the comic Strangers In Paradise, by Terry Moore. I also have a few favorite Japanese manga, including Please Save My Earth (Boku no Chikyuu wo Mamotte), Nodame Cantabile, and Monster.
Oh and if you're into webcomics or shoujo manga, please check out my friend Gina's webcomic, Red String (http://redstring.strawberrycomics.com/).
My family, especially my grandparents and my mom. And William Shatner of course, but that goes without saying. Ben Folds is also my hero, partly because of his brilliant musical collaborations with William Shatner, but more because I think he's an absolute genius. If I could play the piano like he does I would never leave the house.
