Welcome to Brena's myspace page. Brena (the name was taken from A Perfect Circle's song Brena) was formed in December 2006 by Richard Burns and Jake French. Richard was playing around with an acoustic guitar, Ableton and some recording equipment while Jake was, and still is, the drummer of The Annihilation Project. (whose members are Jake and Owain)

Richard and Jake decided to incorporate real drums, and an acoustic guitar with whatever noises and synths they could create in Ableton and so 8|?3|..|4 was formed. We now have our first song completed for the album with a further four in the production process. If..? is our very first track in which we discovered that incorporating real drums with techno is a complete pain in the arse! We are hoping to have our first album, The Beta Phase completed very very very soon!!!
