My Toy Train are an experimental/hardcore band of close friends who are rapidly gaining a loyal cult following in and around the U.K.Intent on putting a twist on a dried out alternative genre they headed into the studio to lay their first example of what is a unique, crushing and instantly recognizable sound, This example was 2007's E.P entitled 'Yesterday Ended In A Massacre' and it was the success of this E.P that had earned them a strong reputation instantly resulting in a busy schedule playing alongside some major acts within the hardcore scene (Evita, Postmortem Promises, Many Things Untold).
Now was the time to step the game up for the band, seeing the reaction from their audience when hammering out the now infamous cult track 'Pac man never got caught for his murders' and the absolute smack to the face impact of title track 'yesterday ended in a massacre' they gained the knowhow and the ability to exceed the first E.P which came in 2008 in the form of 'porcelain smile'
Their second E.P was proof of an ever improving formula and a more focused style which they had created and perfected, these tracks in particular seemed to have been written with the live audience in mind as this is where the tracks really do make their statement,
It’s the Breakneck Beats, relentless slabs of devastating vocal delivery and simply ferocious riffs that accompany a surreal trip into the hardcore synth world and in that world their statement is clear, a sheer creatively brutal experience that is essential on a stage near you.
My Toy Train are currently playing brand new tracks live and plan on heading into the studio sometime this summer.
-Before The Sunrise Promotions-
Upstarts My Toy Train from Leicester play an individual metal/synth mix they affectionately call 'Spazzcore' these guys are going to get very big very quickly with the amount of attention they've been getting. Brutal vocals and riffs intermix with a floating electronic synth. Ignore comparisons to other bands, these lads are something completely different. Watch out for their brand of mayhem in a town near you soon!

MyToyTrain have a sound that I at 'DBC' find very unique and different to most bands out there!!! To me there across between 'Bring Me The Horizon' and 'The Devil Wears Prada'
-I'm A People Person-
The "Bree's" in 'MTT's' new track 'When Horses Were Heroes' are equal to any professional Death Metal band I've ever heard. Track 3-' You Call It Murder, I Call It Art' on there new EP 'Pocelain Smile' is one of there best to date, the break down is just fucking insane!! By the sound of the EP 'MTT' seem alot more focused!! Yet again they've produced another killer, Nice work lads!!!

The first band of the night was Leicester based five-piece My Toy Train. Metal with a progressive, almost experimental edge, it’s a sound defined by originality well above that of your average Metal-band. Unconventional song structures and clever use of keys/samples give their music a distinctive and exciting quality that set a very high standard for the other acts to follow.
