It all started when the two former classmates (and musical soulmates) Kristofer "Wachen" von Wachenfeldt and Michael
"Micke" Sjöö decided to fulfill a longtime dream; a project that plays pumping, delicate AOR filled with the trademarks their heroes had, tons of melodies and hearts of gold. Bands like FM, Giuffria, Boulevard, Honeymoon Suite and Richard Marx among others...
As if Fantasy Child wasn't enough, both of them plays in a metalband in Vetlanda, Sweden called Seven Tears. And yes, Wachen is the same keyboardplayer as the one in Platitude while Micke bangs the drums in rock n' roll outfit Spearfish. Many things going on at the same time to say the least..
The "DARE TO LOVE -E.P." was released here at Myspace followed by an overwhelming response in the spring of 2007 and the future looks more than bright for the band. New recordings will follow in 2008 and beyond. Many bands can try, but only a few can write songs good enough...one of them being Fantasy Child, don't miss out!
