Lady Rupert was born in the City By The Lake, where the stars danced to a many delicate sway. She was a traveling Poet's daughter whose craft exuded a sense of sudden liberation and instant growth. In the early 60's she started writing her own music and performed in small coffee shops and little clubs. A soulful and pure spirit, her music was full of meaning and color, free of compromise. Before she ran away with the wind she left us with the following "It is better to present one true Image in a lifetime than to produce voluminous works". Lady Rupert now lives in a dream from which she never awakens. A place where song and dance are celebrated, and top 40 commercial radio is long dead. We are the children that live in her head and whisper her thoughts. We are Lady Rupert.
