STATIK SKY comes straight from my soul.
The sound waves I produce come forth out of a great frustration with life and it’s general aspects. We live in a rotten world, full of disappointment, constant treats and disease… Capitalism rules all, and where people once used to believe in an unknown higher spirit called god, they now believe in the system and in themselves. god has gotten a new face; it’s your own! Unfortunately I am a human being - just like you- I do not claim to be any better then you are, I don't try to be above the system, nor do I try to escape it. The system made me who I and therefore I love and hate it. I recognize that without the system I wouldn't be. without the system, the sky would not be statik.
And even tough we have lost all our morals and values, and the general public states to be open minded, when it comes to sex, they get conservative. That’s where I step in. My music is a translation of the things they call sins. The sweet naughty stuff, that happens secretly behind closed doors in the middle of the night. It’s about the things everyone thinks - , but dare not talk about! How people find pleasure in pain and satisfaction in sadism. This is translated by the samples I use in my songs and backed up by visuals and text projected on to a screen during life shows. Performances also get an extra energetic boost from the live drums performed by M4RC known from Grendel and Terrorfakt.
