I grew up beside the beach in Gisborne NZ, moving to Ocean Reef (Perth) Western Australia, some 20 odd years ago and more recently to (Hope Island) Queensland, on the East Coast of Australia. I have spent most of my spare time in the water and as a result, I love anything to do with the Ocean, be it surfing, scuba diving or just paddling the kayak around. "Nothing wrong with just walking along the beach at Sunrise, or Sunset either.We didn't have TV until I was in my early teenage years, so I listened to the radio and I have some fond memories of the 50/60's musics, especially Elvis Presley with whom I was madly infatuated with (saw all his movies,and had to have every single/album that came out). Of Course the likes of the "Beach Boys", "JJ Cale", "Eric Clapton", "Led Zepplin", "Dire Straits", " Roy Buchanan","Jim Hendrix" and "Cream", all got a fair hammering over the years too. Then it was the Eagles, and so on and so on. Mind you, my Parents Record collection had a great deal of influence on my love of music also (Roy Obison, Hank Marvin (Shadows), Chet Atkins, Patsy Cline, Ricky Nelson etc), and the likes.
