the players:Millane Kang : singer /songwriter, lyricist, musician, performer.Her name signifies "beauty of the orchid" in Korean and her velvet voice and poetic lyrics meld intimate emotion and simple beauty. Born in NYC to an opera singer mother, Millane studied piano, guitar, oboe and voice and attended the School of Performing Arts ("Fame"), Manhattan School of Music and the Studio des Varietes in Paris.In Paris, Millane sang and wrote songs with Franco-American jazzmen (Laurent de Wilde), and recorded with Jay Alanski on the electronica project "A Reminiscent Drive" (F Com/PIAS). She sings solo on the album "Two Sides to Every Story" (Single of the Week in London's NME) as well as "Tears Along the Way", the first single from the album "Ambrosia" (FNAC Album of the Month), distributed in the US, Europe,Japan and Australia with an experimental video directed by Philippe Andre (All Saints, Texas).OB.one : composer, arranger, producer, programmer.Hailing from the Paris region, OB.one aka Olivier Bostvironnois, studied classical piano from the age of eight, later becoming interested in jazz, electronic music and film scoring.He obtained a diploma in musicology from the University of Tours, continuing jazz studies at the I.A.C.P with the Belmondo brothers and played tenor saxophone in Tahiti.OB.one has scored music for films in films in France ("A la folie, pas du tout" de Laetitia Colombani) and the US, with the award winning hip hop film "Anne B Real" by Lisa France.He co-composed and produced the album "Dancing in Water" for Glimpse, with Australian singer Nicola Quilter and has collaborated with Paris-based singers Louise Vertigo (Virgin/Delabel) and Nancy Danino (Shazz, Snooze).OB.one's compositions are also featured on the "Paris Lounge" downtempo electronica compilation (Wagram).
