It is in that same spirit that Nathan J. Mayes AKA N8 the Creative creates his music by.
Born and raised in Bridgeport, CT, N8 has been creating music since his single digits. Surrounded by a musical family and friends, music has always managed to be a significant part of his life. With their help, N8 would begin to flex his first muscles musically and find out that he had a unique ability and in depth understanding of this fickle thing, we know as music.
As he approached his teens, his growing will to learn more about music encouraged him to seriously study music independently and eventually incorporate it into his school based education. Armed with only a simple Yamaha keyboard and an 8-track MIDI sequencer Nathan would begin to compose his first complete songs/tracks at the age of 13 with a maturity that surpassed many artist older than him.
In high school, after being exposed to music software, particularly that of Fruity Loops (before its popularity) and Sibelius for writing sheet music a whole new avenue was opened for him in his quest for creating music. From that moment on he knew creating music would be his destiny and as a result, it was no surprise that he would go on to receive his B.A. in Music at Morehouse College.
Now with the repertoire, the experience, and a massive, growing, strong diverse taste in music, N8 is ready show the world what he has, hitting the ground running. Let the revolution... or rather the RENAISSANCE begin...
