I've been a guitarist for a while now and a huge Metal fan also. I listen to all kinds of metal. My favorite genres are Thrash, Progressive Metal, Power Metal, Black Metal, and Death Metal. I am really into blues as well and love to improvise and write blues songs. For the record, I leave MySpace signed in all the time so that I can check it and be on my way, rather than having to sign in every time. I'm interested in a lot of things really. Most important in my life is music. I enjoy going to concerts. The energy at a concert is something that you would only understand if you went. I also enjoy things such as The Illuminati, as it fascinates me. I am also fascinated by things that show the human psyche. I enjoy history, mythology, and science. Science IS what makes everything run, I am fascinated by the idea that you can learn what makes things work. Especially Physics, there are some very interesting things that go on in Physics. I am interested in traveling one day, hopefully as a band. If my band doesn't pick up I'll hopefully have a good job to pay for expenses. I am currently enrolled in college working on a degree in Electrical Engineering. Most people seem surprised that a metal head trying to get a band off the ground would be pursuing Electrical Engineering.
Racism is stupid and ignorant. The thought that you could actually HATE somebody because they look different than you is the strangest concept I've heard in my life. The color of someone's skin does not affect their personality. It is acceptable to hate someone based on their personality, but something that has no bearing on what type of person they are, such as skin color, is wrong. Give everybody a chance, I know people of all colors and don't seem to have any problem with them. Its all about respect.
Religion... Personally, I hate the concept of organized religion. I think that most of the people that are religious today are that way because they have been told it was so since they were born. I think religion (or everything in general) should be something that you must decide on your own based on what you think of the idea. If you're religious, I'll never talk about it unless it is brought up. I prefer not to insult my friends until I know what will and what won't bother them. I've never been religious in the least bit and cannot ever foresee myself becoming religious. What you do in your own time is your business... but if you try and force me to do something that I don't believe in, I'll tear you a new one. At the very most, ask me nicely and be done with it. And no! I'm not satanic, the fact that I may wear pentagrams, or inverted crosses, listen to heavy metal or whatnot doesn't mean anything. Its just a part of my image and is what I think looks cool. I look at it this way, if you can befriend me not because of what I wear or look like, but based on my actual personality, you are a true friend of mine. If you take the time to get to know me you'll see that I'm really a nice mother fucker.
