About Me

Account reverted to normal.
We are a Toledo, Ohio based organization committed to creating a free and sustainable world. Formed in the wake of the historic October 15th Uprising, we work to address a broad range of issues, with a special focus on local, grassroots projects. We are dedicated to the principles of freedom and equality and our group structure reflects this, with each member equally involved in all decision making and planning, in an open, non-hierarchical setting. All who wish to live in a world free of injustice and inequality are welcome to join us and share their views and ideas.
Since our formation in 2005 we have been actively involved in causes ranging from environmentalism to gender equality to opposing unjust wars and fighting racism and state repression. We have connected with many other groups and programs including Food Not Bombs, Anti-Racist Action, and anarchists across the Great Lakes region.
We are currently engaged in a wide range of projects, including prisoner support work, the creation of a large scale collective living space/community center, urban agriculture and permaculture, and local Food Not Bombs work. We are open to various anarchist, radical, and anti-authoritarian viewpoints.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interested in changing the world. People who are not afraid to stand up for what they believe; dissidents, punks, drifters, lovers, radicals, community members, activists, anyone anywhere who follows dreams rather than following leaders.

We host activities every week and we're always open to new ones.

Our meetings take place every Friday following Food Not Bombs (4-6PM at Erie & Madison) @ 7pm at 1420 Cherry street (our space).
