My Interests

I'd like to meet:

One special, intelligent, creative, compassionate, passionate, sensual, fun, sensitive, open-minded, curious soul with a good sense of humor who can laugh at herself as easily as she laughs at me... and that will probably be happening a lot, you'll just have to trust me on that one for now...%D%A%D%AIf you feel at all interested or connected to what I have %D%Awritten, please do say Hi. I'd love to hear from you.%D%APeace.

Music:

I'm all over the place on this and it often depends on the setting and mood... ya know? It goes from funky groovy motown, gothic, industrial, alternative rock, old crooners, electronica from house to trance, not much into country and hip hop though... My first concert ever was the English Beat opening for the Clash... loved that concert!

Movies:

Love to go see movies and the list could get pretty long here cause it is a mood thing too... but let's start with The Godfather, Heat, The Last Seduction, Secretary, Blade Runner, Seven, Matrix, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Goodfellas, usually high intensity drama with great acting will get me... oh and Shawshank Redemption, When Harry Met Sally - a classic... Love Charlie Kaufman's stuff: Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Recently loved Words of My Perfect Teacher and What the Bleep Do We Know

Television:

don't watch much and not consistently... CSI is the only one that pops into mind, oh that and late night reality dating shows! HA! Been going up to the Sacramento area for work a lot lately and when I do overnights, I will usually watch the milliion or so cable channels... the trend I've noticed... I will watch some UFW/mixed martial arts/boxing type stuff, some History/Discover/Animal Channel or some other non-fiction type variant, and then poker! Funny... since I don't gamble having only played slot machines once... but I am fascinated by the strategy of the game. It is as much about reading people as anything else.

Books:

The Way of Transformation, The Four Agreements, Mastery of Love, Power vs. Force, The True Power of Water, Let Every Nation Know, Code of the Warrior, I Ching, Tao Te Ching, Lincoln On Leadership, The Little Engine that Could, Aghora at the Left Hand of God, Motorcycle Design and Technology, The Tibetian Book of Living and Dying, Living a Life That Matters, The Prophet, The Alchemist, several by Ni Hua-Ching, Alan Watts, Carlos Castaneda, Rilke, Death of Money, America: What Went Wrong, Culture of Complaint, Power of Intention, Anatomy of the Spirit, Peace Pilgrim, etc, etc Oh yeah how about William Gibson's stuff... Neuromancer, Burning Chrome, Mona Lisa Overdrive, etc... or The Principles of Professional Speculation by Victor Sperandeo - that's a good one if you are into that sort of thing.

Heroes:

anyone who stays true to his or her own spirit... anyone who can share openly and honestly with compassion and integrity... Peace Pilgrim... a true hero by every measure.

Optical delusion of the consciousness...
