About Me

"Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility." ,Sigmund Freud
One of my many Interests
"Intellect annuls fate. So far as a man thinks, he is free."Ralph Waldo EmersonEdvard Munch’s "The Scream" Not the full painting..."If a man comes to the door of poetry untouched by the madness of the Muses, believing that technique alone will make him a good poet, he and his sane compositions never reach perfection, but are utterly eclipsed by the performances of the inspired madman" - Socrates
“People grow old only by deserting their ideals, Macarthur had written. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up interest wrinkles the soul. You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope as old as your despair. In the central place of every heart there is a recording chamber. So long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer and courage, so long are you young. When your heart is covered with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism, then, and then only, are you grown old. And then, indeed as the ballad says, you just fade away.” .. .. ..

My Interests

“Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.” Jim Morrison toconic, 301, peekskill hollow rd, :)"People who have nothing to hide - hide nothing!"
“We all need to look into the dark side of our nature - that's where the energy is, the passion. People are afraid of that because it holds pieces of us we're busy denying.”
"Its hard to be strong when you are addicted to the one thing that makes you weak..."
Some more Tank shots on my website

The first Reef I went snorkeling in. Hanauma Bay, Oahu

This is North Topsail Island, NC. I have to say the shot is off the bridge coming on the island. I went down there in 2000 on Jan 1st to visit my best friend. well I loved it so much I found a house on the ocean and stayed for 2 years.

Another shot of North Topsail Island NC.
This is Ocean City, MD. I have been going down just about every year for well over 15 years.

I went to college just north of Boston but we spent alot of time in this city. I have to say its the cleanest city I have yet to visit. I went to all the tourist spots Cheers, Quincy Market, Boston Harbor (Boston Tea Party), Paul Revere's House, walked the Freedom Trail, and last but not least all the huge parties at BC and BU. Maybe the Hemp Fest too :)
Diamond Head Light House, Oahu.... I lost my wallet on the MT and ran up and down it 2x to finally have some woman hear me at the bottom talking about it and gave it to me :)
The Windy City, I worked in this city for a short spell on a contract job. I have to say the Pizza isn't as good as NY Pizza. I did meet some great people went to a few private bondage clubs :) Then you have all the other sites John Hancock Building (great place to eat), Sears Tower and the Pumping Station (only building left standing after the 1871 fire).
San Francisco, I spent a week in this city saw Lombard Street, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Rodeo Drive. This baby is tiny looks like one block in NYC. I was shocked was expecting to see something much larger... No tourist action on this trip but boy did I enjoy myself. Thank You, S.A.N. until we meet again... Jones Hall!!!

I'd like to meet:

"The bottom line is that (a) people are never perfect, but love can be, (b) that is the one and only way that the mediocre and vile can be transformed, and (c) doing that makes it that. We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love." Tom Robbins

"From the time we are toddlers, people tell us to "share and share alike." Unfortunately, this lesson hasn't been learned very well by three major world religions. Christians, Jews, and Muslims have fought for hundreds of years over the Holy Land, or modern-day Israel. These religious wars have caused a great deal of suffering and loss of life."Tolerance is always over powered by what men belive righteous. Belive in your purity alone, and your no better then the abomination in which you seek to control or destroy.I hope someday human kind can overcome instinct for survival and embrace humanity.

Movies:

"Stop Trying to Control Everything, and JUST LET GO!"
" You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake.
You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. ..Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off. " - Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), Fight Club "The plot is based on an unnamed protagonist who struggles with his growing discomfort with consumerism and changes in the state of masculinity in American culture. In an attempt to overcome this, he creates an underground fighting club as a radical form of psychotherapy. It was made into a movie of the same name in 1999 by director David Fincher. The movie became a pop culture phenomenon. In the wake of the film's popularity, the novel has become a target of criticism, mainly for its explicit depictions of violence."

Books:

I'm dyslexic so I can't say reading long books is any fun. I like periodicals about current events, science, technology, politics and just about anything that broadens the mind. But reading for fun anything long is not enjoyable for me. The internet is indispensable for finding information.

The Gift of Dyslexia
The S.U.M of Total Love
or
The Total S.U.M of Love
I'm not sure I can't find the book because I put it away. That book just showed up in the house one day and no one knows how... Have to say it was interesting reading that was nothing more then a refresher of what I already knew and or forgot. Also have to say I don't agree with all of her writings altho I never put myself in the positions she put herself in when it came to love.

"One day I lost a tear in the sea, and when I find that tear is the day that I will stop loving you..."
A few of the places I want to see...
Hong Kong
Naples Italy
My favorite architect Frank Lloyd Write, 1887–1959.
I have studied all his works along with his life and have to say I love his manner of thinking! I have yet to see any of his work in person :( well maybe drove by one of his works...
In order...
Falling Water, by far his most breath taking work. Mr. Write encountered much criticism from other architects of the time saying it was not possible. Now I have no idea why they would think a cantilever would not work as we all played on seesaws as children. I would say it had to do more on the lines of envy or hatred for his genius so they picked at what they could.
Guggenheim Museum, The idea behind this design is continuos flow unlike other museums that separate the art via rooms.SPIRAL : Linked to the circle. Ancient symbol of the goddess, the womb, fertility, feminine serpent force, continual change, and the evolution of the universe.Glass House, The simplicity of this house is what makes it so beautiful in my eyes. Now today glass is huge on most commercial buildings. At the time this was built that was not the case. Keep in mind its residential and not commercial. The only room closed off is the bathroom and that is the cylinder you see to the right.
“People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.” Jim MorrisonLove me or hate me, but spare me your indifference.
"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on and individual level. It's got to happen inside first. You can take away a man's political freedom and you won't hurt him- unless you take away his freedom to feel. That can destroy him. That kind of freedom can't be granted. Nobody can win it for you.” Jim Morrison...Ahh I could put all of his "s on but I wont... If you would like to see more take a look...Great Quotes from Jim Morrison
"...but we are also loved by our work. It can excite us, comfort us and make us feel fulfilled just as a lover can. Soul and the erotic are always together. If our work does not have an erotic tone to it, then it probably lacks soul as well. (Thomas Moore)" ....
