About Me

People either know me as Jay or my alter ego Dancingboy. Either way, let me tell you a bit about both, my club land entity and the real me.As an actor who’s worked in Film, T.V, Commercial’s and the Theatre, I’ve been involved in entertaining from a very young age. I studied at Sylvia Young Drama School and, was hooked. Although my career started in the dance side of the business; dancing in music video’s for the likes of The Streets, Ms Dynamite & Gabrielle. I’ve also done loads of commercials and acting roles. But, my heart was always in acting. My first major acting role was playing Darryl, the Lead, in the Multi Award Winning Short Film ‘Tubepoker’. ‘Tubepoker’ is a documentary style piece written and directed by Simon Levene. After the success of ‘Tubepoker’, Hong Khaou cast me as Will, the Lead in ‘Summer’, another Award Winning Short Film. Since then I’ve gone from strength to strength. Last year I had the privilege of working with Nick Love on his new film 'Outlaw'. Watch out for me in ‘Honeymoon’; ‘The Virus’; ‘Night Junkies’; ‘Zebra Crossing’; ‘The Grind’; ‘A Class Apart’ and ‘Friday Night Nation’ all coming out soon. With lots of interesting projects in the pipeline; this year looks great. If you would like to view my CV. Add to My Profile | More VideosGiven the name Dancing Boy by DJ's Mc's & Raver’s on the garage circuit, I was always dancing, starting at a very young age. My first club was Gray's Inn on a Sunday morning, when I was 14!! To all my Connoisseur's who know about Gray’s, you know this was a “big morning rave!!”If you were out clubbing at Garage events you would have bumped into me with my bleached blonde hair, white glove and always dancing with a smile on my face. In those days my main clubbing home’s were, Camden Palace, Colisseum and Temple. These club's bring back my fondest memories of my early clubbing days. I’m still out clubbing every weekend, meeting new people and having a good time. So if you see me out come and say ‘Hi’ and buss a move with me.
