The Nehrkorns began singing together in 2006 at numerous congregations in Southern Illinois. Their tight harmonies and fresh blend to southern gospel music have been enjoyed by several congregations and crowds throughout that area as well as many others. The Nehrkorns now travel approximately 170 dates a year in the United States and Canada. In 2008, Justin Nehrkorn and Rindy Ozment were married, changing their ministry to a family group. Justin and Rindy, along with their friend, Jay Arview, now make up the Nehrkorns and they are most excited about what God has in store for the ministry as they continue to press on. She assists her husband, Justin, by working heavily with the music and youth ministry of the Heartland Christian Church of Marion, IL. Being the youngest daughter of Dee and Dianne Ozment, of the Midwest’s legendary Glorylanders, has opened many avenues for Rindy to sing the gospel. Singing with her family has been something she has always enjoyed and looked forward to doing. She also spent a number of years on the road with Eastern Sky and Steve Wilson and the Wilsons. The Lord has blessed Rindy to be able to sing in places all over this great country as well as Africa and Honduras.Justin Nehrkorn (Baritone), of Marion, IL, has been singing and playing the piano for crowds great and small all over Southern Illinois, as well as many other states, for the last ten years. He currently serves as Minister of Music and Youth at the Heartland Christian Church in Marion, IL. Justin has a real heart for sharing the gospel with anyone. God has blessed him with the ability to sing and play piano and keyboard for numerous churches as well as offer his talents to various southern gospel artists.Jay Arview (Lead), West Frankfort, IL, is no stranger to southern gospel or Christian music of any kind. Like Rindy, Jay was also raised in music. His rich, family heritage in Christian music always shines through on stage. Jay clearly communicates the message of the song as he sings and The Nehrkorns are proud to announce him as the newest member of the group!
