Influences: I have always been influenced by sounds and rhythms in our everyday environment...
1. your classic old school, window air conditioning unit..the older and noisier the better. If it goes off balance and rattles like mine, the patterns modulate.
2. The mix of different bird calls chirping in sync, in the early AM hours..very inspiring to me.
3. Train noses
4. Windshield Wipers
5. Machines

Artists/Producers: Kraftwerk, DJ Sasha, Pink Floyd, Martin Hannett, Joy Division/early New Order, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, DJ Shadow's album "The Private Press," BT, Diplo, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Spacetime Continuum/Jonah Sharp, Danger Mouse, OutKast, The Roots
80's classic pop: Pet Shop Boys, Tears For Fears, The Cure
Excursions in Ambience vol. 2, 3 [compilations from a long time ago]
R&B/funk like Common, John Legend and Brick

I have a deep appreciation for sound recording nerds, studio engineers [who have definitely helped me out!], those who see outside of style guidelines...and other DIY producers!!
