Rico Monaco & Sol Sons is a multi-award-winning Latin rock band from Orlando, Florida. With roots in New York City, Florida, Italy, & Puerto Rico, RMSS fluidly mixes Latin rhythms, rock, pop, jazz, and world influences to create a unique crossover sound. Their songs range from Latin rock/pop numbers that make you want to dance and sing along, to ballads, instrumentals, and Latin jazz jams that will stir your soul. Rico Monaco, musical director/guitarist of RMSS, is highly regarded by many world-renowned musicians as an exceptional bandleader and onstage performer. As the bands principal songwriter, Rico is the producer of the three recordings RMSS released in the last five years. Their latest CD, Luna Salerno (October 17, 2006), exemplifies the bands diverse crossover sound.
