The Punching Dummy teaser trailer:
Insulting women is Doug’s life, for at a women’s defense class he is the loathed Punching Dummy. Every night he suits up in his padded outfit and hurls insults at timid abused women in the hopes to get them out of their shells and hit him. With the help of Coach Cindy who runs the clinic he plans to figure out how to empower these women, in turn helping his abused mother. He has all that he can handle in one such woman in the class named Elise. She may just be the key to solving his situation and could teach him a few things about himself.Behind deep, shock absorbing pads lies a very big heart.
The award winning writer/director Peter Bean who wrote and co-directed "My Struggle" (www.my-struggle.com) has another film up his sleeve "The Punching Dummy". Teaming up with producer Aqila "Kiki" Mayle with her vast experience on a wide spectrum of films & music videos and the talented DP Roberto Reyes made for the unfolding of a wonderful story.
