Benji Franklin is an internationally known singer/songwriter from Houston, Tx by way of Nigeria. Being raised in church, he discovered an interest in music. He started performing at a very young age and exploring different instruments, his instrument of choice being the bass guitar. While growing up in Lagos as a little boy,he got to see ,live in concert, groups such as SHALAMAR,KOOL AND THE GANG,THE WHISPERS,BONEY M who were all on an international musical tour, this early musical contact/interaction had a great influence on him. His love for all kinds of music allows him to use a variety of origins to create it, which blends into one electric and unique sound. His music can penetrate the ears of music lovers from genre’s including: Hip Hop, Reggae, World and R&B. He is presently working on his latest album which promises to please all his fans worldwide.
