My field of work. Listening and watching highly informative and eclectic music and films. I also enjoy having hot indie guys as friends and secretly lusting after them in my head.
Some hot child in the city runnin wild and lookin pretty.
ANYTHING 80's, (yes even the sappy Richard Marx shit, but the Cars are the best 80's band), Jawbreaker, Interpol, Death Cab, Blonde Redhead, AFI, Iron and Wine, Rainer Maria and amongst other stuff, Neo-soul, and good ole soul (Aretha, Luther, and Otis). I also enjoy thuggin out with some Roots, Mos Def, Outkast, and Common from time to time.
I'm just loving the new wave of directors that have sprung out in the last 10 years (from video to film) Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze. Of course I give my heart to Paul Thomas Anderson, Spike Lee, and Kevin Smith. Now don't think I'm not going to give any ups to my 80's flicks such as The Breakfast Club, Say Anything, and Fast Times. Amelie is definitely a favorite, and I can finally put a Female director on my list, thank you Sophia. Much love to Focus and Miramax. everyone should go see "Mysterious Skin."
Yes I have subjected to "da man" and broke down and got cable. So now I get to enjoy IFC and Sundance, but the best of all and my first and true love is the FOOD NETWORK!! Screw 30 min meals, how 'bout 15 mins! Who wants some chicken fried steak? (with citrus lime asparagus and rosemary mash potatoes)
Biographies such as "Lost in the Funhouse: Andy Kaufman" and "Wrapped in Rainbows: Zora Neale Hurston." As well as " Mysterious Skin" and "Big Bang" (oh Linda!!)
Jesus and Mighty Mouse.
