About Me

I was born in Lisbon where I began with music. First the violin, then the piano, the guitar and the bass. Since ever I've always been busy listening, playing and writing music and 2 years ago I moved to Cologne to study Jazz-Kontrabass at the Musik Hochschule KÃ¶ln. In addition to all the kinds of music that I had heard before I started the creation of my own project under the enormous influence of new sounds and colours. I had my first real contact with genuine electronic music in Cologne through labels like Kompakt, Karmarouge and Bpitch Control just to name a few and it became clear to me that music had its place close to all the music I had heard before. So, is it jazz, electronica, blues, experimental...? Who cares? It's musicâ€¦
