Ben DJ was born in Tunisia and he started his career as a rep working in numerous holiday villages around the world satisfying his desire to travel and above all to entertain people.
In 1998 he moved permanently to Milan where he became an Italian citizen and continued working as a DJ, within no time he was playing over 150 gigs a year throughout the North of Italy.
Due to his eclectic personality and charisma which engages with any crowd from behind his console and his unique style and taste in music in 2006 he was picked up by of one of Italy’s most influential celebrity agents, Lele Mora and within no time he found himself playing at Italy’s most exclusive venues from the Swiss border to the famous Billionaire Club in Sardinia frequented by Italian and International celebrities and footballers.
It was at this time that Ben started to mix his first compilations and subsequently began working in the studio on some of his own productions, and in keeping a unique touch on the material he was producing and not wanting to use samples - he began looking for a session singer who could give him the sound he was looking for - that’s when he came into contact with Sushy, he had heard about a great vocalist who had her own band and was playing various live gigs in and around Milan. After seeing one of her shows he gave her a call and they agreed to spend the afternoon in the studio to see how they got on. They hit it off immediately and began to record and elaborate all their ideas – within no time they had written “Me and Myself” a great vocal track which was soon signed to the Italian label - Melodica.
With a phenomenal remix package the track was played by some of the music industry’s most influential deejays starting a buzz that looks set to ignite summer 2008.

BenDj nasce in Tunisia. Inizia la sua carriera lavorando in numerosi villaggi turistici nel mondo, soddisfacendo così il suo desiderio di viaggiare e soprattutto di fare intrattenimento.
Nel 1998 si trasferisce a Milano, dove continua a lavorare come DJ. In breve tempo il suo calendario prende vita, realizzando più di 150 date.
Grazie alla sua personalità eclettica, il suo carisma, il suo modo coinvolgente di stare in consolle ed il suo stile inconfondibile, nel 2006 viene notato subito da uno degli agenti più popolari d’Italia, Lele Mora. In pochissimo tempo si ritrova a suonare nei locali più esclusivi, dal confine svizzero al famoso club in Costa Smeralda “The Billionaire”, frequentato da giocatori e celebrità nazionali e internazionali.
E’ a questo punto che Ben inizia a mixare le prime compilation e di conseguenza comincia a lavorare in studio su alcune produzioni proprie, tenendo sempre un tocco unico su ogni pezzo che produce. Per fare ciò Ben ha bisogno di una cantante. E’ così che Ben incontra Sushy: aveva già sentito parlare di lei e dopo aver visto una sua esibizione decide di chiamarla. Insieme si mettono subito al lavoro e cominciano ad elaborare le loro idee.
In breve tempo scrivono “Me & Myself”, che viene subito firmato dall’etichetta italiana “Melodica”.
Con un fenomenale pacchetto di remix il pezzo è già suonato dai migliori dj di fama internazionale...
