I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My actual name is Ethan Guenin and over the years I have been influenced by the Avant-garde and Dada movements, but they are far too anti-political and seem to lack effort by many standards. I also have influence from Surrealists, Realists and Neoclassicism. The Renaissance has consistently been a powerful source and some of the art posted on myspace is from the Renaissance including DaVinci's Codex Lester; humanism has also been a great study, also a work by Botticelli and some by Michelangelo Buonnaroti; the rest in the folder listed "my art" are art works by yours truly, much thanks. If you have noticed the self-portraits; this is influence by the artists Norman Rockwell, Rembrandt Van Rijn and Vance Bell; finding the right subject can be an ongoing search. Creating the Neo Avante Garde was an invention of University study complete with my own unusual spelling. More currently I have been working at several part-time occupations now that I am becoming proficient at and learning a lot and travel as needed; but also searching for those friends and connections that will and have lasted.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

New friends; past friends that I've not been in contact with. Anyone with a positive outlook; whose willing to forget about any negatives that may be in the past. Anyone interested in joining the Indiana Air National Guard; there are many great benefits as well as giving something back.

Weather vanes and direction

Over the years I have found weather vanes intriguing mostly due to their folk art qualities and the arrow will eventually point the direction the wind blows.  Actually direction was my reasoning ...
