The show shook the motor-city, grabbing a wide range of interest from local media, club owners and promoters, proving that when girls make noise, people pay attention.Founded by Stealing Allan’s Rights lead singer, Diana Balsama-Nows and co-founded by female bassist and songwriter, Emily Rogers (R.I.B. and Lola Valley), Venus Ball Productions has showcased some of Detroit’s hottest female acts. Artists ranging from Thornetta Davis to Carolyn Striho and Tamara Bedricky to Liz Larin and The Hard Lessons to Broadzilla, Balsama-Nows and Rogers pride their show on bringing their audiences sexy Rock and professional entertainment.Along with outstanding music, Venus Ball events recaptures the essence of quality shows through creating a musical experience with classy stage designs and club makeovers that sweep the audience into an exotic state of mind. Each band on the bill carries the listener through a different phase of Rock-n-Roll, which is illustrated by a local artist who paints live, on stage, and creates Rock-inspired murals.
