Social Stigma

We formed out of the remains of No Cash Value. Our buddy and former drummer Austin moved to Chicago after No Cash Value broke up and began drumming for Securicor (check them out somehow...) and Matt, Barry, and Randy stayed down in Ho-town and after a couple months began writing songs. Originally Barry was on drums and Matt was on bass but that didn't last very long until things were switched to the way they are today with Matt doing the beats, Barry doing the killer bass, and Randy on guitar and vox. Together we have fun and try to make original music with a sound of our own. We decided to call our band Social Stigma after an exept from a health textbook in school which stated that herpes is a social stigma. None of us have herpes though...I think. Social Stigma means social disapproval of characteristics or beliefs outside of a cultural norm. Things came together kinda slowly but now, almost two years and nearly twenty songs later, we're looking for shows to play and trying to record and release an actual album (cuz despite our many D.I.Y. attempts, we can never seem to be completely satisfied with what we record.)
