UniQ is one of the rappers who began doing what we call "circular rap" without any direction, this began back in 2003 when he felt the passion to do rap music with influence from friends and before he gave up cirular rap he was about to finish his solo album, so he had to give it all up. This was when UniQ met his now fellow brother in Christ Jakob, who in 2006 introduced him to at that time his church, which is now also UniQ's church "Lifeline". By Jakob introducing UniQ to Lifeline it meant that UniQ's music would be challenged by fellow Christians because it meant a different story to the church, however when UniQ fully accepted Christ he began to see and have a passion for Christian rap, as he felt it's his mission to use his music as a tool to preach the gospel to his peers as Hip Hop has become one of the most listened to genres in music.One person who's also motivated UniQ is an artist by the name Da T.R.U.T.H who played a big part in making UniQ realise that Circular rap has nothing in return and that God has a mission for him.
