About Me

I grew up a child of the system, after my father died I was placed into foster homes, group homes, D.F.Y's, and from there I went to jail, prison, etc. I'm tired of the life of crime and want to pursue my true passion, this rap shit. I rep for the 518, that the capital region of new york at it's finest. I call it "The 5th" cause we've been silent for way too long. I got alot of shit to say and I'm gonna say it reguardless of whom or what say so. For along time now my peoples been telling me to step up and take this shit to the next level and help bring hip hop back. I'm sick of the shit I hear on the radios, t.v.'s, even the mixtapes aren't safe anymore. Real emcee's don't get the shine they deserve, instead some bitch ass rapper who don't know shit about being an emcee gets the spotlight. Half these rappers today don't even rap, let alone write their own shit, while a muthafucka like me who pours his heart and soul into this comes up short every time. I can't explain it, Their saying Hip Hop is dead, but is it really? No.. it's alive and well trust me. You can say it's changed since the rise of the south but to say it's dead when there are plenty of emcees and groups out there that are making good rap records is stupid and lame. So there not on the radio or mtv who cares? Do you still watch Mtv for music videos cause I don't..even if I wanted to I couldn't because they don't show videos anymore. And as far as the radio is concerned I stopped listen to that along time ago when they stopped playing hip hop records on the hip hop stations. The radio can't tell you what hip hop is because it didn't start there. It started in the streets and that's where it's been ever since. Even the stations that started because of hip hop(the hot 97's and what not)has sold out and stopped being true to the culture by not playing all fourms of hip hop. Hip hop is a culture in which originality and being real with oneself are two of the most important factors. Strip that away and you have what we are seeing today. Real talk. Every new rapper you hear on the radio or mtv is gonna sound like lil Wanye, TI,Jeezy,50 or kanye. It sad but it's the truth. Nowadays one has to be just like the next man in order to fit in. When I was growing up that was called biting and totally unacceptable. Shit, the only way people would even pay attention to you is if you brought someting new to the table. What happened? $$$$Money!!! Of course we want to get paid for our talent and there's nothing wrong with that but if that's your only motive and your not passionate with your work then your a puppet and that my friends is what the game is full of..fuckin puppets. If that's what you want to listen to, people being fake or saying whatever there told to say that's cool but get off my page...there's plenty of that shit elsewhere. Here you'll find real talk, real hip hop from street shit to real life concerns. I'm not snapping my fingers, or making new dance steps fuck all that. I'm bringing you me in the forum of hip hop..enjoy!!!
