The Gold Coast Representative:
Raised on four different continents of the globe, Temple's lineage traces back to the Ashanti Kingdom, (Kumasi) in modern day Ghana. A true representative of his people, he is known for his cultural trend sets, such as rocking the " colorful Kente" before " ghanaians out here" almagated the idea with everyday apparell.
The Scribe the Lyrical Connoisseur:
At the age of 13, he was Inspired by all within and around him to grace the pad with pen. It was in highschool when the passion to rhyme was birthed. Slowly, he began rhyming more and more often in the open and his peers took notice of his freestyles, his verses, and all that involved "slanging vocab". Years down the line upon entering univerisity, the emcee had cracked out of the shell; often found huddled in cyphers or performing at shows and conferences.
The "Wonder" Years:
Temples affiliation with The Foreign will always be family. Courtesy of Mr. Drifter, Kain Marko and Beyond, Temple started recording tracks with The Foreign and it influenced his outlook and creative input thoroughly. Though at one point an official member of the "The Foreign", Temple chose to focus on his solo projects in order to develop his artistry and establish himself as an artist. Always collaborating with "The Foreign", Temple also works with producers Phonolithic, Justin, and producer/engineer French Connexxion. "Thats the family right there"
The Message, The Medium:
"Rhymes these days and Emcees ways are shallow/ the reason i spit thorough, to penetrate the hollow head" -S.T
HipHop has found herself comfortable in the chambers of baby thuggies, studio gangsters, and imaginary hustlers. There are those who "really do it" but they dont speak of their endeavours; it is nothing to be proud of. There is too much knowledge and wisdom in this world not to be shared, imparted, or explained. Children grow up disillusioned, family members are seeing the grave early becuase of a lifestyle we choose to propagate through "imagery". The message from Temple is simple. "God is one, God is love. Like the scripture says, my people perish for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Hip-Hop is a gift from God, use it, have fun with it, crush emcees, party with it, cry to it, smile to it, but dont encourage one to do the wrong thing. Life is too valuable for nonsense"
