Movies, reading, music... as I mentioned before... my couch (it gets more comfy everyday). Spending time with I the few people that matter to me but for the most part I'm a homebody. I'd love to get back into messing around with latex doing special effects & masks (Tom Savini is DA MAN).I used to say travel but after that last trip to Nashville & getting OH SO lost I think I'll stay home for now. Serial killers always intrigue me..the more demented the better... if they just hack up a few people for shits & giggles it's just not that interesting.
Must I? I mean, really. I suppose I if I had to meet someone I could but other than celebrities (gee, how common!). I can't really think of anyone off the top of my head except maybe myself!
Too many to list & too wide a variety to even think of but here's a few: OTEP, Goldfrap, Orgy, Danzig, Down, Peaches(ROCKS), Glenn Miller, Billie Holiday, Stereomud, TOOL, Peaches,anything Mike Patton, The Spores, Pantera,FDQ, Twilight Singers ,Madonna, Prince...I won't go on & on about this..it hurts my head just thinking about it.
HORROR! Give me some good gore & a snack & I'm good to go. Night of the Living Dead..American Nightmare (my friends worry when I watch this too much)..TCM-of course! (Gunnar Hansen is the ultimate Leatherface...he makes a good prison guard too!)..House of a 1000 Corpses was great as was Devil's Rejects but meeting Sid Haig for Halloween was even better!Old Frankenstein, Wolfman, Dracula or the Mummy..Zombie..anything Tom Savini has worked on grabs me...Debbie Rochon kicks everyone's ass! Christ I can't name everything I like!
Granted, I like just about all movies (EXCEPT CHICK FLICKS) but horror is by far my fav.Old black & whites are the best. I love movies that give you a good mind fuck... anything to scare ya cause let's face it these days movies just aren't scary unless they can really creep into your mind or show you a part of yourself you always wanted to act out & god knows we've all imagined hacking up that one person that's done us so wrong we can never forgive or forget.
TV? Currently boycotting cable. If it's on TV & my better half hasn't brought it on dvd for us to watch then I haven't a clue about it unless it's My Name is Earl,Buffy,Lost,Seinfeld or anything else we've chosen to rot our brains with =) Otherwise just gimme a stack of flicks & I'm happy.

Laurel K Hamilton makes vampires appealing; Charlaine Harris has a way with the were's. Katie McAllister just caught my interest with a couple of her books... Stephen King is well, DA KING.. Clive Barker never fails to remind me that I'm not the only freak on earch. Terry Pratchet makes me laugh for some reason.Edgar Allan Poe is alive & well & never far from my thoughts.Max Brooks gives the ultimate HOW TO in the Zombie Guide..& reminded me to move to an upstairs apartment for added safety. Most anything about serial killers (the more twisted the better).I'll read just about anything as long as it can keep me interested.
