About Me

I get distracted easily by shiny things.

I grew up in the very rural west, and lived in Southern California for a while, and since then I have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UCSD and have moved across the country to start on a Master's in Biology at the University of North Florida, studying aging in grasshoppers. I am married to a wonderful person but don't get to see him too often since he decided it was a good idea to enlist in the Navy...

I also have a 9 year old son who lives with his father in San Diego, but he'll be coming over to visit me every now and then :)

Unfortunately, I really don't have time to read good books because I'm always reading text books for school.
