The band was born in 2001, March 21st, from ashes of a previous band in wich all the original members of SUNSET played in several periods. Marco, Fabio, Davide with the original bass player made up a repertoire of classic '70s rock ( Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones).The first live was in the summer of the same year. It was the first of a lot of live gigs in the main local pubs. In the mean time, the band started to write and compose their original songs.A few years later Gianluca took the bass player role, the Sunset line-up was finally consolidated thanks to different influences, experiences and music preferencies of each member.The band wrote new own songs and choose other cover song, changing the classical one with other, according to the style of the band ( Saxon,Ufo,Alice Cooper ).In 2005 the band won a contest for brand new band with the song "Strange Sunday", in Mansué (TV) and played in Novellara with one of the most important Italian band of '70s, Nomadi, in the anniversary singer-memorial live show.In 2005 and 2006 they partecipated at the EmergenzaLiveContest playing at the NewAgeClub, where lots of world famous band have their live concert every year In 2006 the band completed his first selfrecorded demoalbum with 8 Sunset song .
