As a band our only motive is to give glory to God. We know that worship is a powerful tool for God to move through and that many people are touched and moved by anointed music. Our desire is that you would come to know the amazing love that God pours out for you, that you would know that Jesus has paid the sacrifice for your sin and desires to draw you close to God.....and that you too would accept Him as saviour of your life. It is the best decision any of us have ever made. Think about it....please!

City Gate Worship Band are a group of musicians and singers from a vibrant and passionate church in Salisbury. We meet each week to worship God together at our church and are amazed at what God is doing in our lives as individuals and as a group. Our worship is increasing in passion (and probably volume!) and we are astounded by the huge freedom that God is bringing to us and others each time we come before Him to give Him the glory that He deserves.
We play covers of many worship songs, but also have a passion to write our own songs to God and about God's love and power. All the songs on our myspace page are original and were written by members of the band.
As individuals we all live very different lives with different careers (including two music teachers, a psychologist and a graphic designer!), but when we meet to worship God, He bring us into an amazing unity that lets us flow in worship for our King.
City Gate Worship Band play regularly together at church meetings, but also play on the streets of Salisbury a few times a year at our church outreach events and have recently been more involved in playing at weddings and birthday parties.
The best thing for us is that, not only do we love God and long to devote ourselves to the worship of His name, but we also love each other very much, which promises us all a good time whenever we meet together and with our saviour.
