About Me

I am very happily engaged (I love you baby) to the most wonderful man in the world - my best friend and the love of my life. I am massage therapist/holistic health practitioner (see above pic of me, hard at work...meow) who also teaches the trade at California College of Physical Arts in Orange County. I whole-heartedly and sincerely love what I do, and am confident in my talent as a bodyworker and therapist. There is an undeniable sense of self-gratification in assisting others manifest awareness and healing within their own mind, body and spirit.

I am an old soul who is young at heart, and I may be little, but my presence and energy can satiate any room. On account of my nurturing disposition, I possess a delicate discernment of empathy and compassion for others. This has quixotically proven to be a gift as well as a curse at the same time for me, but it has not shifted my altruistic intentions, albeit sometimes cynical perspective, in regards to the human race and society. I am touched over the dysphoria of other people and the world, which is a denouement of ignorance and the incognizance of the hearts of those that choose a life of greed, malice, and manipulation, who haven't experienced the epiphany that we are all connected. I accept that a life of fulfillment is a life filled with a profound gift of human emotions and experiences, which is the beauty and reality of life, involving tribulation as well as bliss, infused with a mixture of light and darkness - and I consciously face it of my own volition with love, passion, respect, dignity, courage, integrity, sincerity, candor, humor, playfulness, gratitude, appreciation, hope, compassion, empathy, wisdom, naivety, indignation, sadness, grief, fear, and humility.
I believe the stars shine upon many paths, and that these paths all eventually converge. I have great respect for others' beliefs and enjoy learning and gaining insight in a metaphorical sense from both western (including Native American culture) AND eastern religion and philosophy, although I personally don't have the need of religon or a church to prove my own spirituality. The only hell that I believe exists, is a personal hell on earth, conceived of our own devise. Spirituality's element is the pureness of the soul, which is not governed by any authority aside from Universal Consciousness.
Sometimes I feel like a curious little lost kitten on an endless spiritual journey somewhere in The Cosmos constantly searching for inner peace, enlightenment, wisdom, and the meaning of life. By the way, would you happen to know what the @*% we're doing here? :-)
FAVORITE QUOTES:
"The more you learn, the more you realize how much you don't know"
"Chivalry is not dead"
"Of all the ways love can be true, there is one way; and that way is the sum of all the others."
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"
"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"
"The past is a reference point, not a residence"
PERSONAL THOUGHT:
The next time you marvel at the stars that encompass the celestial sky, remember that our sun, also being star, is only one out of hundreds of billions of stars in our galaxy, and that our galaxy is only one out of trillions in our universe, so to believe the inconceivable notion that we, the human race, are the only beings that exist, and that only our minuscule planet holds life in the entire Universe, would be extremely egotistical. As it was said in Carl Sagans movie Contact, it would also be "an awful waste of space". But, consequentially, we must collectively revere the preciousness and rarity of life, how fortunate we are, and that we need to cherish this beautiful planet we were blessed with and not desecrate it, or ourselves.
Peace, Love & Light
Namaste
"We succeeded in taking that picture [from deep space], and if you look at it, you see a dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there — on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors, so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light.
Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."
- Carl Sagan
You Are A Prophet Soul
What Kind of Soul Are You? You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone. Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people. Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run. No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way. You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle. Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings. A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning. You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer. Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul

I Am

Which tarot card are you?
Spiritual enlightenment, inner illumination, hidden power. Link between seen and unseen. Balance of positive and negative forces. Receptivity. Unseen guidance. A young woman sits on a throne holding a scroll labeled "Tora" meaning "law." On her breast is the sign of the meeting of heaven and earth, the Maltese cross. Her crown is the full orb supported by horns, the crown ofthe Mother Goddess Isis, who rules all things changeable, shown by the moon at her feet. Her power, upon which her throne rests, derives from the creative principle of duality, shown by the two pillars of light and darkness. To those who know and love her she dispenses the sweet fruit of the world itself, symbolized by the pomegranites.

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to find friends and relatives that I've lost touch with. Meeting new friends would be wonderful as well. I'm also looking for clients interested in massage theray services who are in or close to the Long Beach area. Please send me a message if you'd like to schedule an appointment or for more information. Please don't contact me expecting any "happy endings" or "erotic" massages and the likes, or my peace-loving self will seriously kick your ass. Unfortunately, the bad reputation massage therapists have acquired makes it difficult for those of us who are serious about what we do and our intentions. As long as you understand this, don't be shy to contact me, but I would appreciate not getting messages asking if I want to "hook up" or "have a little fun" either, as it is not my purpose for being on here.
