Myspace Funny Picture Comments & GraphicsThis is Quentin: So I am a 43 year old guy who lives in Sandy Beach with my partner of 16 years, 2 dogs; Teddy and Ash, an Indian Ringnecked Parrot named Blueberry (yes she is blue) and about 20 goldfish and a new friend Hamish the Eclectus parrot. I am a pretty funny person, but you have to get to know me and my sense of humour. I can find something funny in any situation (which gets me in trouble I can tell you). I am shy and sometimes introverted, it takes the right person to bring me out of myself. I suffer from depression and only recently put a name to it, but I deal with it as it comes. I don't take medication because of taking heaps of mind altering drugs over many years. I find I am getting better at realising the signs and getting prepared for when it comes. Its not a big thing, I just get on with life and feel really badly for all those out there that can't and have no way of expressing how they are feeling or end up taking there own lives . I find talking about it helps.I don't have any great philosophy on life, just live and let live! I enjoy my life, I love my partner and my animals. I love our house and where we live. I love getting to know people even though I run a mile at first.I am looking forward to Christmas as I am a big kid and get a kick out of all the lights, trees and giving gifts even though there is just us to give them too. I get a kick out of buying new things for puppy and Dale and Teddy and giving them out on Christmas Day. I love all the cooking and laying out the table etc etc. Pity there is only us, but I have no one here and the other side of the family is in Tasmania. Still it makes for a quiet day.I work at the local hospital in pathology and enjoy the job. It can be quite busy and hectic and at other times boring. You always find out new things every day. I deal with bodily fluids and sometimes body parts and am fascinated at how we fit together and how our bodies fight to live (either infections or disease) it can be quite upsetting too, knowing there is so much heart ache out in the community.I am all for GAY rights (except marriage). If you want to be together and make it "Official" have a commitment ceremony or some such thing, leave "Marriage" to mums and dads. We are together and have been for 16 years and neither of us want to "married". What's mine is mine and what's Dale's is mine too lol. We share everything equally and have a great relationship. I believe we deserve to be recognised as a couple, but we are anyway, whether you like it or not. We live a quiet and decent and loving life and we keep pretty much to ourselves, however if you want to be our friends don't be afraid because we are gay. You'll find us to be like any other neighbour/friend/person on the street you will meet.I am extremely sensitive and cry at the drop of a hat and not ashamed of it either. I feel sad and sorry for people who cannot cry,its an emotion that shows people who you are and it lets off some of the things that build up inside you.I love animals and though I wish I could work in a zoo, I know I would be mess if things went wrong and I would be a mess if things went right, I told you I cry at the drop of a hat for good things as well as bad!!!Well I guess that's about it. Me and my life anything else just ask or become a friend and chat and email.
