My interest is really my website; BADH.biz that I am constantly working on. I am in the process of taking it from a website and actually trying to get it published into a print dancehall magazine. Hopefully that will come true real soon so keep your fingers crossed for me. And remember to log on to BADH.biz - come and support a sister! a
The person that I would really like to meet has passed on and that is Bob Marley. I would give anything to spend one hour with him. I have listened to all of his songs which are very deep in meaning. He was truly a musical great and I do not think it would be another one like him in my life time.a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?tt=13&cy=ms&ad=1&am p;id=216172782116270657&map=1"
While I mainly listen to reggae/dancehall music, I am actually a fan of all kinds of music. One day I may be listening to dancehall and the next country music. Right now one of my favorite artiste is Ashely Simpson, that little girl can blow those windpipes of hers. ..
I like different kinds of movies. I am a collector of Jamaican movies such as: Smile Orange, Rockers, The Harder They Come, Country Man, Lunatic, Splash, Dancehall Queen, Third World Cop, One Love, Foriegn and I need to add to my collection Bashment. I love Paul Cample to death. He is one bad ass actor that needs to be in Hollywood. Anyone who has a link to Paul Campbell please link me because since I started BADH.biz I've been trying to get an interview with him.I really try to encourage my brother and sisters to really support any movie that is black directed, actor/actress or written. We need to stop with the bootleg and go to the theater and support them so they can have more roles and Hollywood will take us more serious.
I barely have any free time to watch TV but when I get the chance I love to watch sitcoms. I love to watch Friends, Fraiser and lately I've been watching Oprah. I'm learning alot from that sister there.
A lot of people consider me to be ghetto and I must admit that it is somewhat true thus the reason why I love the Urban Hip Hop books/authors. Some of my favorite books are the classics: True To The Game, B-more Careful, Coldest Winter Ever. I also love Caught Slippin, Block Party, After Party, BlackFunk I, II & III, Fatou I &II. Heck I can go on and on. The next time you see one of those book guys on the sidewalk stop and purchase a book. Not only are you supporting a brother/sister but you maybe able to find yourself in one of those books.
My hero is my mother! Through the thick and thin, good and bad she has always been by myside. She has never lead me wrong and has always given me advice. One that I love the most "Never be ashamed of a damn thing you do!" ..
