Intentions

Intentions consists of five musicians all coming from Groningen, a city in the north of Holland. The music can best be described as a mixture of melodic and progressive rock. Heartfelt lyrics about passion, despair, love and loneliness are the foundation for their often intricate compositions that can be intimate and fragile and at the same time solid as a rock. The band has developed a recognizable own sound with melodic keyboards, overwhelming guitar solos, and lyrics that all combine into music with an intensity that is rare.
In mid 2008, the CD recordings were completed and the mixing, mastering and manufacturing of the CD started. When this was completed in May 2009, the CD presentation was scheduled at June 18, 2009 in the Platform Theater at Groningen. Look for further details at the main page of the website.
After this long period of recording, mixing and mastering, Intentions is now entering a new era of colourful, intense and atmospheric live performances of their debut album ‘Place In Time’, complemented with songs for their follow-up album.
