Welcome to the official JT Music MySpace site. JT Music is a London-based music company which acts as European agent for Lexington Co. Ltd, one of Japan's leading independent distribution/record companies. JT Music was established in 2000. We began life sourcing the latest dance and urban vinyl for Lexington's chain of stores - Manhattan Records. Nearly seven years on in late 2006, JT Music's main role is establishing and maintaining dozens of exclusive distribution deals for the territory of Japan for some of the hottest independent labels in both the UK and mainland Europe. Our exclusive labels include Defected, Renaissance, Azuli, Tru Thoughts, Freestyle, Soul Heaven, Eskimo, Jazzman, Metalheadz, Charm and many more.
We also broker licensing deals for Lexington's 3 key labels - Manhattan Records, Ice Dream Records and Lexington Records. Recent successes include Charlie's debut album via Manhattan Records which has sold in excess of 30,000 copies in Japan; Lindstrom's debut release 'It's A Feedelity Affair' which has just been released to great critical acclaim via the Ice Dream imprint as well as some fine music from SUMO, Sofia Petersson and Xantone Blacq - label mates on the Lexington label.
