EskimoFunk

Eskimo has been studying, writing and performing music for the past eleven years. Drumming since age twelve, he followed his musical interest and talent to the Chavruta high school for arts, where he majored in guitar. While in school, he helped found an experimental jazz group called Connections. Since then, he has had experience performig and recording music in numerous bands and musical projects. EskimoFunk, a solo accoustic performance, has been his main project over the past two years. Its style combines folk, funk, and blues, while drawing on the influences of Bob Dylan, Mati Caspi and other jazz and popular musicians. The eclectic and soulful musical styles, when combined with Eskimo's sharp lyrics in both Hebrew and English, create an original sound and a unique expression of contemporary Israeli music.---Yehuda Potaznick, L.L.
