FARCRY

About Me

Greg Higley and David Latham, also known as FarCry, are more than just country music’s newest stars. Together, the duo’s timeless songs and harmonies remind us that in a world filled with sorrow and loss, compassion, faith and hope can still see us through. The product of strong supportive families, raised in the industrial mill towns of the mid-west, Higley and Latham met for the first time singing in a church in TN, and although their breakthrough debut album entitled Take a Ride! is filled with flat-out radio hits, it’s the message in their music that matters to them most of all. On the sixth cut they examine the emotional state of loss in I’m Not Done Crying Yet, allowing listeners to embrace their pain in a truthful yet somehow uplifting way. ”I want people to experience all the emotions that they have when they listen to our music” notes Latham, adding “It’s all about expression.” “Besides our families, music is the most important thing in our lives,” Higley continues, “By staying connected to our fans, our music will always be about real life.” One listen to their songs and you’ll agree because there is something far more compelling going on here, something much more authentic than anything else out there. Whether it’s seeing inside the human heart or helping us experience our lessons in a fun way through their electrifying live performances, FARCRY’S journey has really only just begun. Currently in rehearsal for their major record label showcases, check them out at www.farcrynashville.com or www.myspace.com/farcrynashville.
